GET TO KNOW CIS: Nicole Danis

Here at CIS, we are very proud of the amazing team members that we get to work with. One of the most dedicated people on our team is Nicole Danis. Nicole has been a part of the CIS team since 2016. She has the ability to get things done while bringing a smile to everyone’s face, and we love her for that! The marketing team recently sat down with her to learn more about what makes her who she is.

How many positions have you had at CIS? What are they? Which did you like the best?

Three. Ancillary/Project Manager Assistant, Project Data Manager, Project Manager. The one thing I really miss is selecting textiles as an Ancillary Specialist because I LOVE textiles.

What’s your favorite thing about working at CIS?

The sense of having a “work family”.

What do you find most challenging about your job?

Managing several project challenges at one time, when they all have a sense of urgency.

What’s the strangest job you’ve ever had, at CIS or outside of CIS?

Being a Chef Concierge at The Mondrian Scottsdale for 4 years, I worked with a lot of celebrities and there were things that happened there, that only happens in the movies, or so I thought. I have many surreal stories, come see me and I will tell you some fun ones.

What’s your favorite thing to do outside of work?

I love to hike on a beautiful day and bake sweets for my side gig, The Nest and Egg.

What advice would you have for future CIS employees?

Get ready to be around a lot of confident and fun ladies, it’s like a sorority sometimes!

Do you have an office nickname? If so, what?

Not that I know of. Kiki is what my whole family calls me, it came from my little cousins trying to say Nikki and it stuck. Some of my friends call me Fran (The Nanny) and some call me Sophia (Sophia Loren).

If someone made a movie about your life, what actress would you want to play you?

I get that I look like Sandra Bullock a lot, so probably her. I always have Fran Drescher and Sophia Loren to play me at different ages, too. LOL
